AgResearch has a long history of research on nutrient use and efficiency, developing a scientific understanding of nutrient cycling through the farm system, culminating in science-based advice for the pastoral sector.
Much of this advice is incorporated into OVERSEER Nutrient Budgets, a decision support system for nutrient management, and the industry standard in New Zealand.
