Charles Hefer

I am a Senior Scientist in Bioinformatics, with expertise in Proteomics, Transcriptomics and Genomics data analysis.
I completed my PhD in Bioinformatics at the University of Pretoria in South Africa, before spending 3 years as postdoctoral fellow at the University of British Columbia (Canada) working on a large forest tree genomics project.
Prior to joining AgResearch in 2018 as senior scientist, I held in a similar role at the Agricultural Research Center in Pretoria, South Africa from 2013.
