Dave Houlbrooke

I am an experienced people leader operating in the role Director of Research Capability since 2022.

I joined AgResearch in 2004 as a Soil Scientist researching the impacts of grazing management on soil compaction good management practices for sustainable land application of farm dairy effluent.

I come from a rural upbringing in hill country sheep and beef production systems growing up on farms in the Wairarapa and Waikato. I am an active relaxer and enthusiast of the great outdoors.
