I lead research on Near InfraRed Spectroscopy (NIR), hyperspectral imaging, and advanced chemometrics (deep learning and generative AI) applied to food quality, safety, authenticity, and functional attributes. We utilize world-leading equipment, including hyperspectral cameras (snapshots, line-scanners and hybrids, from VIS to SWNIR) and high-resolution, portable, and low-cost NIR spectrometers.
