My research interests include animal behaviour and welfare, painful husbandry practices in farm animals such as disbudding of goat kids and calves, pain and pain mitigation, small ruminant production, and animal physiology. I am currently working on the impact of anthelmintic resistance on sheep health and welfare. I also have many years’ experience as an educator in tertiary and secondary sectors.
