Nicky Richards

After completing my MSc in Molecular Biology at Canterbury University, I spent three years working in environmental testing laboratories in the United Kingdom. I was employed by AgResearch in 1996 and have assisted with research ranging from the molecular identification of pasture insect pests, the eradication of invasive pest species, to a New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade project assisting the Pacific Islands to identify and manage coconut rhinoceros beetle outbreaks.
