My ancestors first came to New Zealand through the Lyttleton Port, from all over Britain. I was raised in Ngāti Porou country, alongside the Mangaheia river.
I studied Ecology and Zoology at Massey University Palmerston North, ending up with a Masters in Ecology, focusing on a biocontrol option for an environmental weed
I now live in Lincoln with my husband, daughter, and two cats, while working on weed biology and control (conventional and biological).
