I have led a broad range of projects involving the molecular genetic analysis of microbial communities of extreme and temperate environments around the world with a focus on atmospheric microbiology.
Since my move to AgResearch I have focussed on the agricultural sector and genetics based tools surrounding ruminants with a long-term goal to create predictive models directly applicable to providing the best outcomes for ecosystem, human and agricultural development and protection.
