Trevor Jackson
Casual Principal Scientist
I have spent my career as an entomologist/insect pathologist developing biological control systems for IPM including extensive pasture, plantation crop and horticultural ecosystems. My research has focussed on soil dwelling pests (especially the Scarabaeidae) and development of biopesticides/bioproducts. In recent years I have focussed on biocontrol and sustainable agriculture and have recently led development projects in Uruguay, Ecuador and the Pacific.
