I love chemistry which has led me towards analytical and synthetic chemistry and drug delivery to ruminants before I found the grass-endophyte symbiosis at AgResearch, and its interaction with insects and grazing animals. I also work on anti-methane and biological nitrification inhibitors, as well as looking at various forage metabolites. My expertise is chemistry and biochemistry specialising in secondary metabolite pathways, novel compound identification, and quantitation of metabolites.
