Yash Dixit

My Agri-food background and interest in Food engineering saw me complete a MSc in Food Technology at the Central Food Technological Research Institute, India, then a Ph.D. at TU Dublin, Ireland. My expertise is in UV-Vis-NIR spectroscopy, hyperspectral Imaging, Machine learning and Data Science. I explore the applications of optical-based technologies for food and bio-based materials. The goal of my research is to develop non-invasive technologies and digital tools for the meat and dairy sector.
