Commercialising Technology
AgResearch works with a range of public and private partners to commercialise technology both in New Zealand and in global markets.
Key activities carried out by our Commercialisation Team include:
- Identifying innovative technologies within AgResearch for commercialisation
- Building a pipeline of commercialisation opportunities
- Protecting intellectual property (IP) through formulating appropriate strategies, patents and commercial agreements
- Working with partners to take technology to market to solve relevant industry problems
- Securing support from KiwiNet for commercialisation
- Entering into commercial agreements with partners
